Install Plugin

Install the ToolsUnited PlugIn into your SolidCAM Installation.

Get the Plugin from here
Extract ZIP
Copy the content into “SOLIDCAM_INSTALLATION_PATH\Solidcam\PlugIns\ToolTable”

Create tool library

Open SolidCAM and create a new Tool Library

Right Click on Tools
Either “Edit Tool Library” or “New Tool Library”
For Componets choose “Tool Components”
For Assempty choose “Tool Assemblies”

Open ToolsUnited

In SolidCAM open Tab with the yellow arrow icon on the left (Import Tools from Third Party)
Doulbe-Click on ToolsUnited Icon
Now a browser will open

Login

Open ToolsUnited and Login or Register

Open ToolsUnited.com (1)
Click on “Login” (2),
Enter your login data (3)
Search for a suitable tool (4)

Click SolidCAM Export

When you have found a suitable tool, note the “Article number” (2)
Click on the “SolidCAM export button” (1). This appears only if the tool is also suitable for SolidCAM.

Start Export

Click on „Start export“ (1)

Import component into SolidCAM library

Now the downloaded component is shown on the left
Drag and Drop the tool into the SolidCAM library
