Importing tool data to TDM via ToolsUnited

In order to import tool data to TDM via ToolsUnited, follow these steps:

Visit www.toolsunited.com and log in.
Choose a tool by double clicking it or create a tool cart.

Importing tool data from ToolsUnited into the Technology Manager

Click on the export button “TDM” (1).
Furthermore, you may decide, if you’d like to get a STEP model optimized for TDM (3).
Click “Start export” (4).
Save the zip file to your directory (5).

Afterwards, open TDM.
Choose “Tool Planning” (1).
Click on the “Import Assistant” (2).
Choose the tab “Import via ToolsUnited” (3).
Select the zip file saved earlier (4).

Right click the data.
Choose “Import all data records” (1).
Confirm the following dialog with “yes” (2)

In “Tool Planning”, choose “Items” (1).
In the drop down menu (2), select your imported file by double clicking it (3).

You have successfully imported your tool to TDM.
